Introduction
The Doppelmayr Cable Car Florida Inc. team operates and maintains rope-propelled local transport systems. With reliable rope propelled systems and comprehensive service expertise, we ensure that passengers reach their destinations punctually and safely.
We are looking for a leader to join our team in Orlando, FL and to be a part of our operations and maintenance management department. The full-time position has the following responsibilities:
Your tasks
- Manages and oversees personnel on shift.
- Plans, schedules, coordinates and assigns maintenance tasks.
- Performs maintenance tasks when necessary and as required.
- Ensures Company safety policies and procedures are followed and enforced.
- Coordinates work with external parties.
- Provides training to and evaluation of personnel.
- Prepares and administers employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
- Supports recruitment of personnel.
Your profile
- Four years of experience leading teams in a maintenance-focused environment preferred.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and coordinate tasks with staff to meet operational goals.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising, training, evaluating, and motivating personnel.
- Preferred four years of experience with mechanical or electrical systems including ropeway maintenance, transit system maintenance, industrial mechanical, industrial automation, electrical installation, or similar work.
- Certification in Electrical Trade, Millwright Trade or Aircraft Maintenance Trade or similar trade considered an asset.
- Skilled in interpreting and applying O&M Manuals, including reading and understanding engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical engineering design.
- Ability to identify and implement enhancements to maintenance procedures and forecast resource needs effectively.

- Ability to prepare and maintain records, complete forms, and reports clearly and accurately in a timely manner.
- Ability to climb stairs as part of a regular routine and walk up to 3 miles per day.
- Comfortable with repetitive hand motions and prolonged standing.
- Alertness during nighttime hours.
- Ability to address customers and co-workers in a professional manner.
- Ability to perform tasks at elevated heights.
- Able to lift forty pounds.
- Computer literate and proficient.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English
- Must have valid driver’s license.
Job information
- Full-time – typically 40-50 hours per week.
- This is a salary position, shift work may be required along with schedule flexibility due to operational needs.
