Deine Aufgaben

As a Ski lift installer, you'll be working in the mountains at ski resorts in Western Canada (British Columbia & Alberta). You'll be involved in all stages of the lift installation.


Job summary

  • Wake early and work in the mountains.
  • Assemble and adjust prefabricated metal, electrical and mechanical components.
  • Participate in all stages of ski lift installation (surveying, excavation, foundation forming, concrete placement, mechanical assembly and steel erection, tower flying, rope rigging, splicing, lift tuning and adjustments).
  • Being on active job sites with heavy machinery as well with proper indorsements operating equipment (e.g. Telehandlers, manlifts Trucks and trailers). 

Dein Profil

  • Technical knowledge and experience with heavy machinery, steel assembly and erection, carpentry or any other relevant experience.
  • Be willing and available to work on remote sites (sometimes 10 hours a day, 6 days a week).
  • Be skilled manually to handle and carry several tools (grinder, chain puller, drill, circular saw, torque wrench, etc.).
  • Be able to work physically (be physically fit to lift loads of up to 35 kg) and outdoors (heat, cold, rain, snow, height, etc.).
  • Any relevant training in the field of construction.
  • Intermediate oral and written English.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
  • Valid and unrestricted passport.
  • Knowledge of the metric system.
  • Ability to work and live in a team for long periods of time.
  • Attention to detail, meticulous, organized and clean.
  • An interest in working at heights on occasion.
  • Willingness to travel within North America on rare occasions.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on rare occasions (an asset).
